A lawsuit has been filed against Apple by three users who claim they lost around $1.8 million after downloading a counterfeit app named Sparrow Wallet. The plaintiffs allege that Apple was aware of the existence of these fraudulent Bitcoin wallet versions but failed to remove them or warn customers.
It is important to note that Sparrow Wallet does not have an official iOS application. In response to the allegations, Apple stated that it has removed similar applications and has blocked the accounts of the developers involved.
