SpaceX has announced an agreement to acquire the artificial intelligence company Cursor for $60 billion. The transaction will be carried out using SpaceX Class A shares, with the exchange ratio based on the weighted average closing price from the seven trading days leading up to the deal's completion.
The acquisition is anticipated to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Earlier in April, SpaceX had secured the option to either acquire Cursor for $60 billion or contribute $10 billion as part of a partnership agreement with the AI firm.
