QuEra Computing has announced its intention to unveil its first fault-tolerant quantum computer within the Amazon Braket cloud service by 2028. This initiative is part of an extended collaboration with Amazon Web Services.
The upcoming Libra quantum computer will incorporate more than 256 logical qubits equipped with error correction capabilities, aiming for a logical error rate of 10⁻⁶. QuEra anticipates that this system will execute approximately 1 million dependable logical quantum operations.
