QuEra Computing, a developer of neutral-atom quantum computers, plans to launch its first fault-tolerant system in Amazon Braket cloud service in 2028. This project is part of an expanded partnership with Amazon Web Services.
The Libra quantum computer is being designed with over 256 logical qubits featuring error correction, targeting a logical error rate of 10⁻⁶. According to QuEra's estimates, the system will be capable of performing around 1 million reliable logical quantum operations.
