Pineapple Financial, a Canadian mortgage firm, has successfully transitioned over $1 billion worth of housing loan records onto the Injective blockchain. This initiative focuses on tokenizing data related to existing loans rather than creating new mortgage-backed securities. Each on-chain record is linked to the original loan document and encompasses more than 500 parameters.

Looking ahead, Pineapple aims to migrate its entire portfolio, which consists of over 29,000 mortgages totaling more than $10 billion, onto the blockchain.
