Market maker Wintermute has announced that its affiliate, Wintermute USA LLC, has registered as a broker-dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and joined the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
The New York-based entity will be able to provide liquidity to national exchanges and over-the-counter counterparties, trade stocks and options, independently clear transactions involving digital securities, and act as an authorized participant in exchange-traded products.
