Standard Chartered has finalized its acquisition of Zodia Custody, securing full ownership of the crypto custody firm. The agreement, initially reached in May, has not disclosed the financial terms of the deal. Upon completion, Zodia's regulated digital asset custody operations will be integrated into the bank's Securities Services division. Additionally, the software and infrastructure development segment will be spun off into a separate entity named Zodia Solutions, managed by SC Ventures. Zodia Custody operates regulated business units in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, the UAE, and Luxembourg, enhancing Standard Chartered's footprint in the digital asset space.
