The Ethereum Foundation (EF), a nonprofit organization, has appointed Pascal Caversaccio, co-founder of the emergency crypto security service SEAL 911, as its fourth board member. He joins Ae Miyaguchi, the organization's president, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of the project, and Swiss lawyer Patrick Storchenecker. This appointment comes as the Foundation intensifies its focus on privacy and security, which they referred to in June as "non-negotiable guarantees of the protocol."
Caversaccio is also recognized as the author of the "Ethereum Cryptopunk Manifesto" and serves on the advisory board of the Silviculture Society, a group established by EF in February 2025.
