Strategy currently holds 818,869 BTC, with total expenditures exceeding $61.8 billion at an average entry price of $75,540. The yield since the beginning of 2026 stands at 9.4%.
Saylor explained that if the firm sells one bitcoin for business purposes, it will immediately repurchase 10 or 20 BTC. He emphasized the importance of remaining a "net buyer" and ending each year with more coins than at the start.
Strategy is considering selling part of its cryptocurrency to pay dividends on preferred shares, a move previously funded solely through the issuance of its own securities.
CEO Fong Le confirmed that the company would opt to sell bitcoin instead of issuing shares if it proves more beneficial for shareholders, noting that his decisions are based on mathematics rather than ideology.
Strategy's balance sheet shows 818,334 BTC valued at $66.4 billion. Analysts at JPMorgan expect the company to invest an additional $30 billion in the asset by year-end at the current pace.
Le also highlighted the success of the software development division, which saw a 12% revenue increase in the first quarter of 2026.
As of this writing, shares of the company under the ticker MSTR have risen by 4.31% to $187.59, with a monthly increase of over 41%.
