Mastercard has introduced Agent Pay for Machines, an autonomous payment service designed for AI agents, software platforms, and connected devices. This service facilitates transactions via cards, bank accounts, and stablecoins. Over 30 companies have joined the initiative, including Coinbase, OKX, Polygon, RippleX, Stripe, Cloudflare, and the Solana Foundation. The platform supports micropayments down to fractions of a cent.
