Hyundai Card is set to expand its use of stablecoins following a successful pilot project on the Avalanche network conducted in June. This initiative involved a cross-border transaction of $20,000 from the United States to Mexico, which was completed in about seven minutes.
This rapid processing time marks a significant improvement compared to the usual three to four hours required for traditional transactions. Encouraged by these results, Hyundai Card intends to further investigate this operational model to assess its economic feasibility on a larger scale.
