In 2025, approximately 7,000 humanoid robots were sold worldwide for industrial and professional applications, according to the International Federation of Robotics. In contrast, the previous year saw the installation of around 542,000 traditional industrial robots and the sale of 199,000 service robots.
Currently, many humanoid robots are primarily utilized for research and data collection, with automotive manufacturers conducting small-scale tests. Meanwhile, Bank of America projects deliveries of 90,000 such robots in 2026, increasing to 1.2 million by 2030.
