Greece's Parliament has enacted a law establishing a 10% tax on profits from the sale of digital assets and a 15% tax on income from staking, crypto lending, and liquidity provision, effective January 1, 2027. There will be no tax for annual profits up to €500, but any earnings exceeding this threshold will be taxed in full. Losses exceeding €500 can be carried forward for up to five years. Additionally, investors will have a 12-month period to voluntarily declare previous earnings without penalties or interest, provided they meet specific conditions.
