Political action committees (PACs) associated with Fairshake have disclosed expenditures exceeding $1.5 million on advertising for four electoral campaigns in Florida, Alaska, and Wyoming.
This funding is aimed at supporting candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate.
According to the Federal Election Commission, the PAC structure Defend American Jobs allocated over $500,000 to back Nick Begich in the special election for Alaska’s single congressional district.
A similar amount was spent by the committee on ads promoting Republican Sidney Gruters in Florida's 16th district and Harriet Hageman in Wyoming.
The organization Protect Progress reported expenditures of more than $50,000 to support the reelection of Lois Frankel in Florida's 23rd district.
Almost all the politicians receiving support voted in Congress for the GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act.
The disclosure of these expenses came after the defeat of incumbent Democratic Congressman Shri Thanedar in the Michigan 13th district primary. Protect Progress had spent over $2 million on media support for him, but he lost to state representative Donovan McKinney.
In the 2024 election cycle, Fairshake and other crypto-related PACs have collectively spent over $170 million on races for the House and Senate.
It is worth noting that in May 2026, CoinDesk reported that cryptocurrency funds have increased their influence in U.S. elections.
