The Bundesbank has become the first institution to implement the Prividium platform within its own infrastructure for testing purposes, as announced by Matter Labs, the creator of ZKsync. Smart contract and token data will remain within the central bank’s systems, while zero-knowledge proofs will enable the verification of transactions without revealing their contents.
At the same time, Matter Labs has released the source code for the Prividium component that manages roles and access rights. This move will allow financial institutions to independently deploy, verify, and modify the system. The company will continue collaborating with the Bundesbank on the development and testing of the platform.
