BitMine has introduced its institutional platform, the Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN), designed for staking the second-largest cryptocurrency.

Initially, the platform was intended solely for the company’s operations. However, BitMine now aims to offer services to large investors, custodians, and exchanges.

“BitMine is the largest holder of Ethereum, and shortly after launching MAVAN, it will become the largest cryptocurrency staking platform in the world,” stated the company’s chairman, Tom Lee.

As of March 24, the platform has locked over 3.1 million ETH, valued at $6.8 billion. In the past week, BitMine transferred approximately 101,776 ETH worth $219 million to MAVAN.

In the near future, the company plans to send all remaining unstaked coins to the platform. According to Quatrefoil's Composite Ethereum Staking Rate benchmark, the annual yield from staking Ethereum is projected to be 2.75%.

In total, the company manages 4.6 million ETH worth $8.94 billion, accounting for nearly 4% of the leading altcoin's supply.

Lee added that BitMine plans to expand into other PoS networks and critical blockchain infrastructure. In 2026, the company will focus on on-chain storage, post-quantum solutions, and other initiatives.

In the last 24 hours, BMNR shares rose by 3% to $21.4. However, over the past six months, the stock has dropped nearly 60%.
