The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe has welcomed seven fintech initiatives into its regulatory sandbox. This move allows these projects to test their solutions under the supervision of the regulator, although it does not ensure full registration for commercial operations.

The selected projects include: Zimbabwe Entrepreneurship Exchange, Ndarama Standard, Questview Brokers, Crowdaxe Capital, Procode Platforms, Financial Securities Exchange, and Colmin Resources Zimbabwe. These initiatives span various areas such as blockchain fundraising, crowdfunding, synthetic trading, and the tokenization of assets, securities, and infrastructure.
