On September 20, the ZetaChain community voted overwhelmingly in favor of shutting down its blockchain and migrating the ZETA token to the Solana network. An impressive 99.4% of participants supported the proposal, with a turnout of 58%. The token will be issued in the SPL standard and will be exchanged on a 1:1 basis, maintaining the total supply.
The exact date for halting the network will be determined through a separate vote, following discussions with exchanges regarding the migration. The team will shift its focus to the AI application Anuma, which will also be relocated to Solana. Until the migration is complete, the ZetaChain network and ZETA staking will continue to operate as usual.
