xAI has launched Imagine Image 2.0, an upgraded version of its image generator that aims to better interpret text prompts and improve typography. This new model features an array of local editing tools, enabling users to make specific adjustments to selected areas without affecting the entire image. It also offers background removal with transparency retention, the ability to combine up to five original images in one request, and automatic adjustments for different aspect ratios. Developers claim that this model is now the second-best in text-based generation and editing on the Arena platform.
