According to Randall Reed, the head of TRANSCOM, AI algorithms can randomize routes and transport frequencies, anticipate resource shortages, and automatically reconfigure logistics networks in response to disruptions. The system will be supported by IoT sensors, digital twins, and blockchain technology to secure data. However, a significant challenge in implementation is the need for substantial computational power, which is often limited in field conditions.
