Thai authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Wang Yichen, a Chinese businessman, due to his alleged involvement in illegal cryptocurrency mining activities. The Department of Special Investigations revealed that the operation involved the theft of electricity valued at around $28 million, which was reportedly used to fund scams and online gambling operations.
Wang was previously charged in November with theft and violations of the Computer Crimes Act. Investigators suspect that he has fled Thailand following the charges.
