The Thai authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Chinese businessman Wang Yichen in connection with illegal cryptocurrency mining. This was reported by Reuters, citing the Department of Special Investigations.
According to the agency, the operation used stolen electricity worth approximately $28 million and laundered proceeds from scams and online gambling. In November, Wang Yichen was charged with theft and violating the Computer Crimes Act. Investigators believe he has left the country.
