This new tool allows one assistant to act as a manager for others. Users need to select a bot (either their own or a third-party), enable management mode, and generate a link.
Anyone who clicks on this link can create an assistant with pre-filled data and then transfer control to the manager bot. The manager bot will handle messaging, profile changes, and settings adjustments.
According to the developers, this mechanism can be used to deploy personal assistants, AI agents, business solutions, and other custom tools.
At the same time, Telegram has expanded the types of input data that bots can process. In addition to text, they can now work with:
- files;
- geolocation;
- stickers;
- voice messages;
- built-in commands like /start and /help.
Furthermore, the built-in keyboards and inline buttons have been enhanced. Bots can now offer users menus, quick actions, links, setting toggles, and other interactive elements within the chat without sending additional messages.
The Telegram team has also announced the ability for assistants to communicate with each other. This feature can be utilized for complex agent processes, such as when one bot delegates a task to another or processes its responses in a group chat.
As a reminder, in December 2025, the messenger launched a decentralized network Cocoon for AI on TON.
