Suno has unveiled its AI model v5.5, featuring tools designed to showcase musical individuality.

"The capabilities we are introducing today—voice accuracy, personalized sound, and custom solutions—lay the groundwork for the next generation of music models that we will launch in collaboration with the industry later this year," the announcement states.

Developers emphasized that the updated model not only assists in music creation but also reflects the author's individuality. The following features have been added:

  • Voices — allows users to record their vocals and use them in compositions;
  • Custom Models — enables users to create a personalized version of v5.5. Users upload their tracks, and the algorithm generates similar music;
  • My Taste — a system that gradually learns the user's musical preferences and applies them in its work.

The first two features are available to Pro and Premier subscribers, while the last one is open to everyone.

To use the vocal recording feature, users must undergo verification. The service will ask them to read a control text from the screen, then compare audio snippets to ensure the voice truly belongs to the user.

Suno assures that all voices remain private—only the author can use them. In the future, there are plans to add the ability to share sounds, but "with full control retained."

As a reminder, in September 2025, Suno launched the "world's first" generative DAW—Suno Studio, which "radically rethinks the music creation process."
