BitMine increases Ethereum holdings to 4.12% of total supply
From April 13 to 19, Strategy purchased 34,164 BTC for $2.54 billion, with an average purchase price of $74,395. This marks the firm's largest weekly acquisition since November 2024.

Strategy now holds 815,061 BTC, representing over 3.8% of the total market supply of the asset. The company's total expenditure on cryptocurrency has exceeded $61.6 billion, with an average entry price of $75,527.
The funds for this latest acquisition were raised through the sale of Class A common stock and perpetual preferred shares. The 42/42 program aims to raise $84 billion by 2027 for further Bitcoin accumulation.
Despite these aggressive purchases, the company's position is currently "underwater" by approximately $400 million. However, Strategy's stock price increased by about 27% last week.

BitMine and Ethereum
As of April 19, BitMine Immersion Technologies holds 4,976,485 ETH (over $11.4 billion), which is 4.12% of the total market supply of the coin.
In the past week, the company purchased 101,627 ETH.
BitMine CEO Tom Lee noted that the asset demonstrates strong resilience amid geopolitical instability and is in demand in the AI and asset tokenization sectors.
Key metrics for BitMine include:
- staking volume through its own platform MAVAN reached 3.3 million ETH ($7.7 billion);
- expected annual income from staking rewards is estimated at $330 million;
- total reserves, including fiat and stakes in other projects, reached $12.9 billion.
BitMine holds 199 BTC and partially owns Eightco, which provides access to investments in OpenAI. Since April 9, the company's shares under the ticker BMNR have been trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
For reference, in the week of April 6, Strategy acquired 13,927 BTC for $1 billion, while BitMine purchased 71,524 ETH for $156.35 million.
