Silicon Quantum Computing (SQC), a developer of silicon quantum chips based in Sydney, has raised an additional AUD 40 million from the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation, increasing the total investment to AUD 60 million.
This funding will support the expansion of SQC's PAQMan technology, which focuses on the precise placement of phosphorus atoms in silicon for enhanced quantum chip production. The company aims to enhance its manufacturing process, claiming it can design, produce, and test new chips in less than a week.
