Spacecoin teams up with DETI Technology to launch a decentralized satellite network in Vietnam, aiming for $100 million in annual revenue.
Spacecoin, a decentralized infrastructure project, has partnered exclusively with DETI Technology to establish a decentralized satellite network in Vietnam. This collaboration, valued at $100 million, aims to generate substantial revenue once operational.
A memorandum of understanding stipulates that the project will focus on major Vietnamese telecom operators, including Mobifone and Gtel, and seeks to achieve annual revenues of at least $100 million.
The initiative will roll out a combination of four advanced technologies:
- Decentralized satellite telecommunications;
- Sovereign routing for local traffic management;
- Blockchain technology for payment processing;
- Edge AI to enable local data processing with minimal delay.
Under this agreement, DETI will hold exclusive rights to develop and distribute Spacecoin's technologies in Vietnam for three years, commencing once the startup secures its operational license.
Spacecoin's founder, Te O, highlighted Vietnam’s drive towards digitalization as a key reason for choosing the country as the first location for this large-scale deployment, with plans to replicate the model in other developing markets in the future.
