South Korea will allocate over 200 trillion won for state research and development by 2030. Quantum technologies are among the 10 strategic areas outlined in the Sixth Basic Plan for Science and Technology, according to DongA Science.
Of this total, 60 trillion won will be dedicated to 55 technologies, including AI, semiconductors, advanced biotechnology, and quantum developments. A separate budget for the quantum sector has not been disclosed in the published data.
