These skills equip digital assistants with essential context for engaging with various applications, tokens, tools, and functions within the Solana network.
Solana Agent Skills are categorized into two groups: official and community-contributed. The official skills focus on troubleshooting common issues, performing security checks, and ensuring secure data transmission.
Community-created skills offer functionalities for decentralized finance (DeFi) interactions, portfolio management, team trading setups, and application testing, with more than 60 configurations available. However, the Solana Foundation has noted that these community solutions have not been officially endorsed.
All skills can be accessed via open repositories on GitHub, allowing users to integrate them into their AI agents with a simple line of code.
This development comes shortly after the TRON DAO announced a significant expansion of its AI fund, increasing it from $100 million to $1 billion, aimed at supporting early-stage startups focused on the agent economy.
