A significant cryptocurrency transfer occurred when an anonymous entity moved 600 BTC, worth around $48 million, after over 16 years of inactivity. The coins were originally mined in March 2010, during a period when miners received 50 BTC for each block mined.
According to analysis from Whale Alert, the origins of these 12 transactions were traced, revealing no links to Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. Notably, one transfer happened just before the others, prompting speculation among experts that it may have been a preliminary test before executing the larger transfer.
