During the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, Samsung executives announced plans to incorporate support for stablecoins across over 800 million smartphones. The Samsung Wallet app will introduce payment and savings accounts linked to fiat currencies. Currently, the service boasts approximately 19 million users in South Korea and operates in 61 countries. However, the company did not specify which stablecoins will be included or how many Galaxy device owners are currently utilizing cryptocurrency features.
