According to Glassnode, on June 23, the number of transactions on the Bitcoin network exceeded 820,000 per day, the highest level since April 2024. This surge occurred amid a bearish market, with BTC trading around $62,000, approximately 50% below its all-time high.
The primary driver of this growth was Runes. Transactions involving the protocol surpassed 600,000 daily, accounting for about 25% of the network's fees.
