Remixpoint, a publicly traded firm in Japan, has divested its holdings in Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin on September 1, leaving Bitcoin as its sole cryptocurrency asset.

A recent company disclosure revealed that the total sale amounted to ¥878,814,569 ($4.47 million), surpassing the book value of ¥761,041,920 ($3.87 million). Remixpoint recorded a profit of ¥117,772,649 ($598,400), which it plans to categorize as revenue from its business segment for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2027.

From the altcoins sold, Ethereum contributed a profit of ¥60,203,121 ($305,900), while Solana brought in ¥49,304,898 ($250,500), and XRP generated ¥11,523,717 ($58,500). Conversely, Dogecoin reported a loss of ¥3,259,087 ($16,500).

Prior to the sale, Remixpoint's Ethereum and Solana holdings earned ¥29,874,959 ($151,800) in staking rewards combined.

The company decided to liquidate its altcoin positions after assessing market conditions, the risk-return profiles of each asset, and its overall financial strategy.

“After thoroughly evaluating the market landscape, the risk-return aspects of each cryptocurrency,” the company stated, “and other relevant factors, we resolved to sell all our altcoin holdings.”

Moving forward, Remixpoint aims to focus solely on Bitcoin, a decision it believes will streamline its strategy and enhance capital efficiency.

Bitcoin lending has yielded 14.92055902 BTC in fees from February 24 to August 31, with those fees valued at ¥164,218,522 ($834,300).

As reported by Bitcoin Treasuries, the company currently holds 1,501 BTC, worth approximately $116.1 million, positioning Remixpoint as the 38th largest public holder of Bitcoin. Variances in totals are due to different reporting dates.

In recent weeks, many public companies have increased their Bitcoin purchases, reallocating more of their capital into this asset class as a means to raise funds.

In April, Metaplanet acquired 5,075 BTC, raising its total to 40,177 BTC. In August, another Japanese firm, Super League Enterprises, received 2,100 BTC along with $2.5 million in cash. Additionally, Zhibao Technology secured 2,380 BTC through a $154.7 million private placement funded with Bitcoin.

Later that same month, Strive purchased 1,110 BTC for $81.5 million, followed by an acquisition of another 1,800 BTC for approximately $143 million. By the end of August, Strategy made a significant purchase of 4,603 BTC valued at $369.7 million, marking the end of a two-month hiatus in its Bitcoin buying activities.
