Singapore's pQCee has successfully raised $3.9 million in a seed funding round, with SGInnovate and Lotus One Investment leading the investment. The startup is focused on developing innovative "crypto-agile" solutions, enabling encryption algorithms to be updated through cloud patches, thereby eliminating the need for hardware changes. This technology aims to safeguard against potential risks associated with "collect now, decrypt later" attacks, where sensitive data could be compromised by future quantum computing capabilities. The newly acquired funds will support team expansion and facilitate market entry into the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, bringing the total funding raised by pQCee to $6.7 million.
