Osmosis Community Votes to End OSMO Token Minting
The Osmosis community has approved proposal #1053, which will cease the issuance of new OSMO tokens. As a result, the daily minting rate will drop from 91,324 tokens to zero. Additionally, staking rewards will now be solely derived from protocol revenues. This proposal received overwhelming support, with 91.1% of participants voting in favor.
