Chinese manufacturer Orbbec, known for its 3D sensors and machine vision solutions for robotics, has begun construction on a manufacturing facility in Vietnam. The RVMC factory will be located in the Thuan Thanh industrial zone in Bac Ninh province.
The facility will cover over 100,000 square meters and will produce 3D sensors and smart devices for international markets, with operations set to commence in 2027. Orbbec aims to strengthen its global supply chain and mitigate supply chain risks by establishing production across multiple sites.
