Orbbec, a Chinese company specializing in 3D sensors and machine vision technology for robotics, has officially started building a new manufacturing plant in Vietnam. The facility, named RVMC, is situated in the Thuan Thanh industrial zone of Bac Ninh province.
Spanning over 100,000 square meters, the factory will focus on producing 3D sensors and smart devices aimed at international markets, with production scheduled to begin in 2027. This move is part of Orbbec's strategy to enhance its global supply chain and reduce risks associated with supply chain disruptions by diversifying production locations.
