Locus Founder, a new AI service from Y Combinator, allows users to generate and manage online businesses simply by sending a business idea via messaging platforms like iMessage, SMS, or Telegram.

This innovative platform handles all aspects of business creation, including market analysis, website development, product sourcing, and marketing, along with payment processing.
Payments are facilitated through USDC, a stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar, using a non-custodial wallet system called Pay With Locus. This setup enables the AI to autonomously manage funds, including earning, saving, and spending, while still allowing for human oversight.
When a user submits a business idea, the AI conducts comprehensive market research leveraging over 40 data APIs, helps establish a brand identity, and creates a full website. It also manages marketing campaigns, including producing short video ads for platforms like Meta.
With every transaction, funds are directly settled into a wallet controlled by the AI, bypassing traditional banking methods and their associated delays. This allows the AI to operate swiftly, earning and spending funds without the need for a bank account. Payments are processed through the Checkout With Locus payment SDK, streamlining the experience.
