On September 30, Lloyds and Visa wrapped up a week-long pilot program testing cross-border transactions using USDC, totaling $750,000. This marked the first collaboration of its kind between Visa and a major British banking group. Funds were transferred from the UK to the US, with transactions taking less than an hour, including over the weekends. Lloyds acquired USDC through Archax and utilized its own node on the Canton network, while Visa executed the transactions on a public blockchain.
