Keplr, a non-custodial crypto wallet, has temporarily halted logins through Google and Apple following reports of unauthorized transactions linked to accounts created via these platforms. The development team is collaborating with Web3Auth to investigate the situation. Preliminary assessments indicate that wallets established using seed phrases or hardware devices remain unaffected.
In light of these concerns, Keplr has urged users not to fund accounts created through Google or Apple, and advised against importing or recreating these accounts. The team has committed to providing verified updates and further instructions once the investigation is complete.
