Tonkeeper has officially changed its name to Keeper, enhancing its functionality by adding support for six new blockchain networks and evolving from a wallet primarily focused on The Open Network.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Keeper team announced that the wallet now accommodates TON, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, and Base.

Self-custodial wallets empower users to retain control over their crypto assets, as opposed to relying on exchanges or intermediaries.
According to Nikita Monastyrskiy, CMO of Keeper, the rebranding reflects the evolving needs of users who have expanded their cryptocurrency activities beyond TON.
“The feedback was clear from our users. Those who trusted Tonkeeper began using multiple chains,” Monastyrskiy stated in an interview with Decrypt. “They hold USDT on Tron, Bitcoin, ETH, and assets on layer 2 solutions, managing everything across several apps while retaining Tonkeeper for their TON assets.”
He added that the previous name, Tonkeeper, no longer aligned with their users’ multichain requirements, leading to the rebranding to Keeper.
Keeper's Battery feature enables users to pay transaction fees without needing to hold the native tokens of each supported network. The company plans to extend this feature to all networks it supports within a year, though specific details on which networks will have it at launch were not disclosed.
“Introducing new chains was just the beginning,” Keeper stated. “In the coming year, we aim to enhance our multichain functionality, transitioning it into a platform users rely on daily, not merely for storing assets but as an actively used wallet.”
This rebranding follows a similar move by MyTonWallet, which transitioned to My Wallet in June after expanding its services to 11 networks. Additionally, the TON-based decentralized exchange STON.fi launched cross-chain swaps in July, linking TON with Tron and various Ethereum-compatible networks.
Keeper's expansion coincides with Telegram's increasing association with TON. In January 2025, Telegram designated TON as the exclusive blockchain for its crypto-enabled mini apps, and the following year, it took a more significant role in managing the network. The Open Platform, which supports Keeper and develops other TON-related products, raised $28.5 million at a valuation of $1 billion in 2025.
Looking ahead, Keeper intends to introduce cross-chain swaps, decentralized finance products, spending tools, a decentralized application browser, a loyalty program, and perpetual futures trading, although specific launch dates have yet to be announced.
The Open Platform also offers a self-custodial TON Wallet integrated within Telegram. The broader ecosystem has been expanding its financial offerings as well; a TON-based service launched lower-barrier staking through Telegram in June 2025, while Libre and the TON Foundation initiated a $500 million tokenized Telegram bond fund in April.
Monastyrskiy emphasized that this multichain growth will provide current users with a singular application for managing their assets while also exposing the wallet’s TON features to a wider audience. “By expanding beyond the TON ecosystem, we maintain close ties to it,” he said. “This approach allows users to finally have one app for everything, while others can discover why we are the leading self-custodial wallet on TON.”
