Kalshi Traffic Surge in the U.S.

Kalshi's U.S. user traffic skyrocketed to 15.4 million in July, while trading volume surged to $40 billion, driven largely by sports contracts.

In July, Kalshi's website attracted 15.4 million users from the United States, a stark increase from under 1 million in August 2022, according to Similarweb data. Nearly 80% of the platform's traffic came from American users.

Trading activity saw an even more dramatic rise, with August's trading volume reaching approximately $40 billion, up from $874 million a year earlier. Notably, sports contracts accounted for 83% of Kalshi's turnover in July amid ongoing legal disputes with authorities in several U.S. states.
