The cryptocurrency exchange HTX has released its performance report for August 2026, revealing that the total trading volume for TradFi assets surpassed $4 billion. The platform's balances increased by 6.6% month-over-month, and the number of stocks available for trading reached 210.
HTX dedicated August to celebrating its 13th anniversary. The campaign titled "Reliability Proven Over Time" began on August 13 and will continue until September 13. By the end of August, participants had received over 130,000 prizes.
Anniversary Rewards
Users can complete growth challenge tasks to unlock rewards as they progress. The grand prize includes 2000 USDT, a trip to TOKEN2049 in Singapore with airfare and accommodation covered, as well as a limited edition gift.
HTX Earn ran a separate promotion for the anniversary, attracting over 30,000 new subscribers in the month. Subscriptions for new cryptocurrency products saw an increase of more than 10% compared to July. Campaigns focused on collateral swaps, margin trading, and institutional lending raised the average daily number of margin traders by 19%.
In celebration of the milestone, the platform reintroduced its trading championship. The third season was divided into three stages: a points competition, an individual challenge, and a team battle. The total prize pool amounted to 800,000 USDT, with over 40,000 traders participating by the end of August. The spot trading volume exceeded 1.25 billion USDT, while futures trading volume reached 4.17 billion USDT.

New Listings: 56 Futures Assets and Markets in Japan and Korea
During the month, HTX added 56 futures instruments, comprising 41 stocks and index products along with 15 cryptocurrencies. The total lineup now includes 210 stocks, featuring American securities, global indices, ETFs, pre-IPO unicorns, and companies from Japan and South Korea.
The expansion focused on four sectors: AI and semiconductor equipment, internet companies and e-commerce, large enterprises and Asia-Pacific indices, as well as high-dividend "blue-chip" stocks. New instruments include Zhongji InnoLight (ZHONGJI), GigaDevice (GIGADEV), Unitree Robotics (UNITREE), Shein (SHEIN), PDD Holdings (PDD), SoftBank (SOFTBANK), Samsung Electro-Mechanics (SAMSUNGEM), the Nikkei 225 index (JP225), and the Korean KOSPI (KR200/KODEX200).
August accounted for $1.6 billion of the total $4 billion in TradFi trading volume.

SmartEarn and Trading Bots
The HTX SmartEarn service launched a promotion offering an interest rate of up to 11% annually. With an average base yield of 2.71%, the maximum rate exceeded 13% per year.
Trading volumes for futures bots grew by 36% over the month. Copy trading and bots are now operating with 20 TradFi assets, including U.S. stocks, precious metals, oil, and indices.
