Prior to this, the endowment had reduced its holdings for two consecutive quarters: by 21% at the end of 2025 and by another 43% in the first quarter of 2026. Notably, Harvard's investments in gold exchange-traded funds now surpass its Bitcoin holdings, totaling $171.2 million compared to the $101.4 million in Bitcoin.
