Google has introduced Gemini 3.8 Flash, a new model designed for complex programming tasks, autonomous agents, and intricate multi-step reasoning challenges. The company has labeled it as its top Flash model in terms of coding quality and reasoning capabilities; the pricing remains unchanged from the previous version, set at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens.
The model is now accessible via the Gemini API and Google AI Studio, and it is available to subscribers of AI Pro and Ultra through the Gemini app, AI Mode, and Google Sheets. Additionally, the company has rolled out a specialized version called Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber, focused on identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.
