Fortitude Mining Holdings has finalized a deal with Bitmain to acquire 9,000 Antminer Z15 Pro units, each priced at $3,499. This purchase totals approximately $31.5 million. The miners will be delivered in two phases: 3,000 units are set for arrival in October 2026, followed by 6,000 units in November. The addition of this equipment is projected to enhance Fortitude's hashing power by roughly 7.56 GSol/s, specifically for Zcash (ZEC) mining using the Equihash algorithm.
In the first half of this year, Fortitude successfully mined 72,696 ZEC, representing about 28% of the overall production for the cryptocurrency.
