The Ethereum Foundation (EF) has completed a months-long reorganization as part of its Treasury Mandate and Governance Policy. The new structure consists of five working clusters: Protocol Layer, Access Layer, User Layer, Community Layer, and Institutional Layer, along with operations and management support blocks.

As part of these changes, the foundation has let go of 54 employees, which is about 20% of its team. EF has offered them severance packages: at least one month’s salary for each year of service or the local mandatory minimum, as well as assistance in finding new roles within the ecosystem and a small grant for related expenses.
