On Friday, Dogecoin experienced a decline of 4.5%, while ether saw a decrease of 2.5%, as reported by CoinDesk, marking a broad yet modest pullback across major cryptocurrencies following a robust week. XRP and Solana also fell by approximately 2.5%, whereas bitcoin showed more resilience with a slight decline of 0.6%, trading around $65,400.
This retreat did little to alter the overall weekly performance. Bitcoin remains up by 3% over the past week, ether has increased by 1.8%, and most major cryptocurrencies are still in the green for the week, with Hyperliquid being an outlier, down 3.5%.
Friday's downturn did not appear to stem from any specific trigger, but rather seemed like a temporary pause after recent gains.
