On June 29, a New York court sentenced Carl Rinsch, director of the film "47 Ronin," to 30 months in prison for fraud. According to prosecutors, he diverted $11 million from Netflix into options, cryptocurrency, and personal expenses.
The court also imposed three years of supervised release and ordered Rinsch to repay the funds. As reported by Decrypt, he invested over $4 million in Dogecoin and withdrew nearly $27 million through Kraken in May 2021.
