Cysic, a cross-chain project, has reported a security breach involving its bridge, which allowed an attacker to unlawfully issue 10 million CYS tokens on the BNB Smart Chain. Preliminary investigations suggest that the assailant gained access to the bridge's service database and exploited a vulnerability in message processing. In response, the Cysic team has suspended bridge operations and blacklisted the attacker's address, which held approximately 2.8 million CYS tokens, now subject to transfer restrictions. While some tokens may have already been moved or traded, the full extent of the damage is still being assessed. Cysic reassured users that the incident did not impact the main network of the project and there was no theft of assets already stored in user wallets.
