Deutsche Bank is set to introduce a cryptocurrency custody service aimed at corporate and institutional clients within the next few weeks, as reported by Reuters. Initially, the service will support Bitcoin and Ethereum, with stablecoin transactions expected to be added later. The bank has plans to expand this service to financial hubs in Asia by 2027. Additionally, Deutsche Bank intends to offer tokenized deposits and assist clients in issuing digital bonds. This initiative aligns with the bank's strategy to achieve an average annual growth rate of 8% in its corporate business by 2028.
