Data center operator Crusoe has secured $3.9 billion in a Series F funding round, valuing the company at $30.9 billion. The round was led by Atreides Management, Mubadala Capital, and Valor Equity Partners, with additional investments from Nvidia, Founders Fund, GIC, and the Qatar Investment Authority.
The funds will be allocated towards the construction of large AI campuses and modular Crusoe Spark data centers. These modular centers are prefabricated at a factory and can be deployed on-site within weeks, significantly reducing the time required compared to traditional methods.
Currently, Crusoe has contracted over 6 gigawatts of capacity, with more than 1 gigawatt already operational.
