Following the attack on the Tectonic lending protocol, Cronos managed to recover approximately $111.2 million of the affected $120.4 million, according to the Cronos team. However, an additional $9.19 million was withdrawn from the network before it was halted.
To facilitate the recovery of funds, validators rolled back Cronos by nearly two hours to block 10,961. This rollback resulted in the cancellation of transactions unrelated to the attack during that timeframe. The network resumed operations roughly 11 hours later.
